Moliving Introduces First-Ever Hotel Room on Wheels

Moliving Inc. is looking to disrupt the hospitality and modular living markets with the launch of its first model unit at the forthcoming Hurley House resort in New York’s Hudson Valley. Designed and engineered in-house, the mobile hotel room is easily installed and relocated with minimal impact on the environment. Plus, it exudes luxury and efficiency in equal measure.

“The traditional hotel development model has proven its success for generations. Now, lifestyle habits and travel behaviors have greatly shifted. We are spearheading the change with our mobile units and proprietary technology to continue to adapt,” says Moliving founder and CEO Jordan Bem. “Moliving is accommodating by design, its flexibility feeds the desire to roam freely helping the industry to embrace the nomadic, adventure-seeking traveler of today, who still wants all the benefits of the traditional five-star accommodation.”

Moliving Units total 45 feet in length and provide nearly 400 square feet of indoor space in addition to dual 120-square-foot outdoor decks attached to the front and rear. Wooden interiors aim to complement the soothing earth tones of its destinations. An oversized skylight in the spa-inspired bathroom will frame rarified views. The bedroom will be equipped to accommodate a king bed or two twin beds as well.

Constructed on a custom chassis, each Moliving unit can stand alone or join a group to form a multi-level retreat. Lithium battery technology is installed to store energy harvested from rooftop solar panels, while greywater recycling technology supports a reduction in water consumption.

Beyond Hurley House, Moliving is pursuing several partnerships with East Coast properties through 2022. Collaborations with getaways in California, Colorado, Nevada, and European locales like Portugal and Italy are in the works.
