On June 10th, more than 125 design professionals gathered on the sunny rooftop of coworking concept Cubico in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood for the first-ever pop-up trade show NY Always. The inaugural fair was conceived to connect (and reconnect) clients, friends, colleagues once again, as well as capture the resiliency of New York.
Thirteen non-competing vendors—Arteriors Contract, Daltile, Dornbracht, Duravit, Durkan, Garrett Leather, Global Allies, Indiewalls, Koroseal, Mapei, Maya Romanoff, Richloom Contract, and Walters—showcased their latest product introductions.

The event was developed by Arteriors Contract brand ambassador Matthew Ryan, Daltile sales rep Hannah Scaife, and Richloom Contract account executive Meghan Wright. “Hannah, Meghan, and I had a lot of fun bringing together these industry leading suppliers to provide a critically needed environment for designers to connect and see new product,” says Ryan. “The small and informal social format is one that we intend to grow and develop with future events.”
Another iteration of NY Always is being planned for this fall.
